The Big Hair Parade by Diana Muendo & Abby Hobbs *JULY RELEASE*
I have always wanted to write a children's book about afro hair and addressing the universal girl's struggle with feeling good about the way we look with what hair we have.
The Big Hair Parade is a book I wish I had when I was a little girl. It is a celebration of Hair and the different superpowers of all hair types - encouraging girls everywhere, especially black girls, to embrace and celebrate their unique hairstyle and ultimately to love themselves!
Absolutely thrilled to be working with illustrator and friend Abby Hobbs to bring this book to life.
